They don't (didn't?) support Debian 2.2/Potato either, but the source
builds fine. Given that RedHat 6.x has similar libraries to potato (as
far as I remember) a source build should be possible. I've scripted mine
and every now and then I run a dpkg -iGROEB over the resulting .debs. It's
not *too* much of a pain in the neck provided you don't mind grepping out
any rare order / library version problems from the build logs and fixing
them up.
