[Gllug] L2E:- Pentium pro 233 cpu wanted

They also have branches in (at least) Watford (where I work), Harrow
(where I used to live) and Leeds (where my parents live :-)

Personally, I'm not too keen on them. They're not bad for new stuff -
helped me out with a motherboard emergency in Watford last year - but
their second-hand prices are *far* from competitive. I have seen things
for sale in there second-hand for less than the *retail* price new
elsewhere. Plus, they sold me a 250Mb hard drive labelled 340Mb which had
allegedly been tested. It can't have been too well tested if plugging it
in to a BIOS told me it was 250Mb, and a 2 minute search on the web gave
me its exact details. As it happens, the drive works fine (44 days uptime
on that box at this time), but the point remains.

One thing which is worth looking at, purely for fun, is their retro shop,
behind the top of TCR, near the Playing Fields, but there's not much worth
actually *paying* for there.

On the other hand, I don't know of anyone else who does anything similar.

Cheers
Richard
