There used to be a company in London
Round by University College (Euston)
called The Computer Exchange
They were excellent at selling second-hand chips /
memory bars / and motherboards (all tested)
and at an extremely reasonable price.

I was thinking of going and checking
out if they were still there now I've moved back to
London, I think if you look in Yellow pages there
will be at least one or two similar companies
I used to buy loads of goodies from places like that.
