Hi George
Yeah someone has definatley blown away the system partition
thats why F10 dont work, I will have a look on the compaq site
and see if I can find the location for you, failing that I have
about 3 2500's at work, so I can dig out a CD for you with the
software on it, I will let you know on monday when I get back to work
Regards
Ade
Ade & Co,
sorry people but "f10" returns a keyboard error OR the system
utils are not available message.
Thanks but I still need help
This Proliant had an IDE CD rom so no problem with detction
there. I cannot se anything referring to putting back the "bios"
settings on Compaq page. There are set up disk images for 95 NT
etc. but when tried will not run in dos mode Am I just being blind
here somewhere?
Any other ideas, Oh yes proliants are business only not end
user so Compaq 8 till 8 service support is out the window, and they
put you onto sharks who basically said they do not care about end
user if I were using it for business they would sign me up for being
ripped off !!!
TIA
C U
